Meet the Baker

Hello and welcome to Frosted with Care! I am Trisha Stulz, the creator behind all the treats you see. I started my baking business after my second born was diagnosed with multiple food allergies. This led me to learn how to bake dairy, egg, peanut and tree nut free so that she could have safe treats. And after baking and decorating my eldest’s 3rd birthday cake and cupcakes (see below), people pushed me to start selling my products. So, in late 2016, Frosted with Care became a reality, on a mission to help others within the community who have food allergies/intolerances and need a safe treat. What started off with just baking and decorating cupcakes has since grown to baking fun cakes, cookies, tarts, donuts and now scones. I love challenging myself in finding new and exciting recipes for you all to enjoy.

While I love baking, it is only my side job. I work full time from home for a local law firm as a senior billing specialist. My husband and I celebrated 10 years of marriage this year, and have 4 beautiful daughters, ranging in age from 11 to 4. I am a HUGE Minnesota Twins fan and daisies are my favorite flower. We are currently living in the home that I grew up knowing as my grandparent’s home.

Everything you see me bake is dairy, egg, peanut and tree nut free, made in my nut free home. My daughter still has severe nut allergies, so we keep our home safe for her. I also can bake gluten and soy free, but please note that my kitchen is NOT gluten free. I take special precautions to prevent cross contamination within my kitchen, but understand everyone’s comfort level is different knowing there is a risk. Being an allergy parent myself, I know the anxiety others feel when it comes to their child eating food prepared by someone else.
